About Me
- Tina van Eijsbergen
Raised in southern California, I moved to the Netherlands at the age of 24 to teach English at a general education high school in Ermelo. For the next 40 some years I taught English as a foreign language at many types of Dutch secondary schools, and finally found my niche at the MBO. I am passionate about teaching English in the contexts that are relevant to the learners, be it an occupational context or just an area of interest. Practice makes perfect has been my motto throughout the years. Practicing English in a context that has the learner’s interest makes language learning quicker, more effective and more meaningful.
